This café in Istanbul with the name Asel Café was not generating the revenue which was expected at its inception due to the bad weather conditions the city offers. Completed hundreds of commercial projects around the world in the commercial landscape, Libart's idea for revenue generation that can be maximized with the transformation of outdoor space into indoor place is widely accepted by restaurant & café owners.
Libart constructed this opening lean-to retractable structure that allows outside light to be let in during colder months, but the lean-to roof also retracts so that on warmer days it can allow in sunlight. The 3 section café enclosure folds back in on itself allowing indoor comforts, outdoor freedom.
